It is a good idea to train your dog how to accept and respond to corrections. This takes the stress out of training later when getting ready for competition. This is actually a very simple concept. With the training collar on, play with your dog in drive. Give intermittent pops on the leash while playing with your dogs favorite food or toys. Have your dog drag you on the training collar to his or her favorite food or toy, or drag the leash on his own to them etc. This will help teach your dog to come up in drive rather than get flat in training later when a correction is needed. This work should be done early in his training/conditioning program. Linda
